Unless a page clearly says a product was personally tested, recommendations are based on research. That research can include manufacturer specifications, retailer information, product features, recurring buyer-feedback patterns, maintenance requirements and fit for specific household problems.
No Fake Testing Claims
We do not describe products as tested, reviewed in person, or used at home unless that is true. If a guide is research-based, it should be labeled that way.
How Product Guides Are Built
- Define the reader’s real problem.
- Compare products against the use case, not only against each other.
- Explain who should skip each option.
- Check for common failure modes such as weak lids, bad bag fit, sensor issues or hard cleaning.
